The Studio, centrally located in the East Bay, has a history of attracting people of different backgrounds and experiences - all exploring creative ways to integrate the various components of their lives, and ultimately to embody their own experience of spirituality.
Along with teachers of yoga, chi kung, and Trance Dance, to name a few, the studio is home to Body Electric, a school of massage and erotic healing. (Click here for more information.)
As of January 1, 2006, Joe Weston has stepped in to create Heartwalker Studio—using the Studio for his own workshops and projects, as well as to create and expand with others the vision of a vital and welcoming center for spiritual integration.
The vision for Heartwalker Studio is to provide the Bay Area community with activities focusing on creating nurturing community, connecting with others, growing and exchanging ideas. These will include workshops, daily meditation and physical warm-ups, lectures, discussions, outreach programs, social gatherings and performance.

Joe Weston is an experienced workshop facilitator, life coach, body worker and international corporate trainer. Joe brings a wealth of insight based on Tai Chi Chuan, Taoist healing and Tibetan Buddhism—plus theater and corporate training experience. Now a California resident, Joe lived in Amsterdam for 17 years. He is committed to helping others embody spirituality. He is the founder of the Heartwalker Project – an ongoing series of urban walking meditations created to weave peace, love and compassionate power into our lives.
